Participants will:

  • become familiar on a variety of topics that examine the diversity of our community
  • be provided with information to create diverse teams
  • be provided with the knowledge to develop and implement programs and services that address the diversity of the community.

Why are "Promoting Anti Racism / Cultural Diversity" workshops important?

  • The ethnic and racial makeup of the community is changing. Over 90 ethnocultural groups are represented in this community. Windsor receives over 1500 immigrants on an annual basis from a wide range of countries.
  • To be more aware of diversity issues.
  • To make programs and services more inclusive.
  • To meet the needs of more clients / customers.
  • To be more culturally sensitive.

How is the "Promoting Anti Racism / Cultural Diversity" Workshop planned?

Steps:

  • A call is placed to the Multicultural Council of Windsor an Essex County
  • One of our consultants will visit you to assess your training needs
  • Arrangements are made to hold a workshop at a convenient time for your organization
  • A customized workshop is developed.

When will the workshop take place?

  • Customized workshops will be arranged at your convenience
  • Coming this fall we will be offering a series of public workshops.
