The Cultural Competence Project is being funded by Canadian Heritage. The following outcomes will be achieved:

Development of downloadable resources for health care providers

A workshop for health care organizations "Developing a Culturally Competent Health Care Organization". Scheduled for February 22, 2007

A 8 month cultural competence change project focused on 6 - 8 organizations who want to improve their cultural competence

Available for health care providers throughout Windsor-Essex County

When

Project started August 2006 and will end March 5, 2008

Cultural Competence Workshop will be held February 22, 2007

Cultural Competence Change project will start April 2007
