The Newcomers´ Settlement Program assists newcomers who are settling and adjusting to life in Canada and Windsor- Essex County.
Eligibility:
If you are a refugee, a landed immigrant or a Canadian Citizen and have lived in Canada for five years or less, then you are eligible to use the Newcomers´ Settlement Program.
We link newcomers with community resources service, ESL classes and training programs.

Community Access
Advocacy
Health
Counseling
...arrange appointments with government and community agencies.
...arrange for volunteers to accompany you on appointments.
...assist you with document and referral translation services.
How Can You Use Our Services?
You can make an appointment to meet with a settlement counsellor at The Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County, 245 Janette Ave.
Appointments can be arranged at a satellite office near you if transportation is a problem. Emergency appointments after hours can also be arranged.
If you have a question or need some information you can telephone a settlement councillor.
Groups who want to know more about the N.S.P. Program or who need similar assistance can arrange for a settlement councillor to visit them.
